NASO’s role with government relations varies as much
as the issues confronting the industry.
The role of the association is to:
- Inform NASO members and the general public of government
activities that affect sports officiating.
- Provide factual information to legislators in order
to influence favorable legislation.
- Empower members to advocate positions supporting favorable
legislation.
